TAP DOGS

Hey everyone,

I promised I would show you some pictures of the hot tap dancing construction workers, so here you go! Reminder, I didn't take these pictures, I just found them off of the internet and I think they are kinda old because they are not the same people (well, some aren't) but the show has been the same for the last 10 years, so that's all that matters!





The guy in the hat (2nd from the left) was at the show I went to and so was the guy in the black shirt (3rd from the right) and I think the guy in between them was as well, but I can't swear to it....



This is the picture that's on the front of the playbill....I adore it!

Confessions from the Coffee House

Hey peoples,

I feel like one of those aspiring writers that sits in a coffee house with their beverage of choice next to them (Mine is chai tea) and is typing away their thoughts on their laptop....Except I'm home...On my desktop compy....In my pajamas....BUT I do have my chai tea! Oh wait...No, I finished that....Crap. There goes my dream. LOL

I've been soooo busy this week it's not even funny! But it's all fun stuff (except the Algebra part). On Monday, Amanda, Mike, Tyler, Kassie, Laura, and myself all went to the ice rink for their Christian Skate day! It was SOOOO much fun. It was the first time I had ever ice skated and I would say I did rather well considering I haven't been on rollerblades in years.

Then yesterday I had school (blech). Left school in tears, because my counselor keeps telling me I HAVE to take Algebra 2 in order to even go to college even though I've already fulfilled my required two years. After that, my mum called the community college that I want to go to and the lady said I DO NOT need it. Especially since I'm going for writing and whatnot. So Laura told me to tell Lisa to take her Algebra 2 and shove it. lol.

Then last night I went to TAP DOGS at the Opera House. Tap Dogs is a high energy tap dancing show down by constuction workers. It was INCREDIBLE!!! I tell you, there is nothing hotter than funny tap dancing constuction workers!!! At one point they put one guy in a harness and flipped him upside-down and he tapped on a board....UPSIDE-DOWN!!! (I wasn't able to take any pictures, so I stole some off of various websites and I will post them up in the next post.)

Today I had to go back to school (Mind you I went to bed at 11 PM after Tap Dogs and woke back up at 4:20 AM) for extra math help. And then I had puppet practice to attend, but I refused to stay for youth group (Rejecting various bribes from my friends to stay). And now, tomorrow, I have to go back to school ONCE again, but this time, thank God, only for a few minutes to pick up an assignment, and then later I have a doctor's appointment.

EEEEEEE!!!!!! One week and one day until I attend my VERY FIRST DANCE!!!! I'm SOOO excited!!!

Well, I'm extremely tired and I plan on getting a well rested night's sleep!

And to use Mike's comment he ALWAYS uses when you say "New and Improved"..."How can it be new AND improved?!" Well....I shall tell you. New web address....Improved...Um...HEY LOOK! A COOL BANNER!!! lol

SOOOO much has happened, I just haven't had enough time to catch you all up!!! ARGH! I hate it!!! BUT I have time now!! YAY!

First of all, I got the first F of my life. BUT thank GOD it was only midterm and I can still bring it up (Which I will, I KNOW!)....Algebra sucks!!! BUT good news, I am THE student (out of the 63 that go to my school) that is in THE highest math book available at my school!!!! YAY!!! I'm sooo good!

I had the MOST EMBARRASSING moment of my life this week. On the plus side, I got some compliments on my singing at youth group on Wednesday....The bad side? I never want to sing at church AGAIN....Our youth group leaders weren't there this week so other people were taking over. Andrew was playing the piano and I was getting distracted during the worship part. Then Laura said something to me and I started to write on my hand....And then there's a tiny break between the verse and the chorus....And then I belt out singing...."HALLELUJAH!!!!" and then I realize I'm singing the wrong song....And of course, none of my friends would let me forget it...I was MORTIFIED!!!

Thank you, Leah, for my Valentine!!! I LOVE IT!!! I'm sorry, I didn't make you one! I am forever ashamed....*pouts* Thanks, Rob, for the BRILLIANT Valentine Poem! It was soooo sweet!

Today was my SECOND piano lesson!!!! I'm having sooo much fun!!! YAY!

I have SOOO many nicknames! Jenn (Well....If you consider this a nickname...I'm not quite sure. Anyways....), Henneefer, Roberta, What's-Her-Face, Jennear, Thee (Laura is Thy)...And Mike just called me his little dufus. Thanks, Mike, I love you too. lol

Well, I'm going to go. I'm going to try to post again tomorrow...Adventures in Shopping!!!
