Thank God It's Summer!!!!

Hi hello!!!

Long time since now blogging action! I'm going to fix that though.

I've been so busy lately! This last quarter of school I was trying to stay on top of my college classes (I passed my career development (lame class) and I got a 4.0 (YAY!) in my Intro to Lit class (Best class ever!!)) and some few high school classes (Which wasn't hard...They were just electives). And now this week we're finishing up Vacation Bible School at my church! I'm a group leader with 5-6 year olds. It's so much fun! I love it! The theme is a Western Town called Tumbleweed Gulch (Where God's Love Changes Everything) and they need water real bad...And Sheriff Andy and Deputy Bonnie are trying to remember that God will take care of them, but the mischievious Cactus Jack is trying to pursuade them into thinking rain will never come and that God isn't going to help them. =D Good times!!! Tomorrow is the last day, which is bittersweet. I'm glad because I'm tired....But I'm sad because I'm having so much fun! And soon after VBS ends tomorrow, my mom, aunt, cousin, and myself are packing up our car and heading over to my grandparents' house! Yay!!! I'm so excited!

Well, sorry this was so short, but I need to get going. Going to Walmart of last minute purchases and then I have to come home and pack...Man...Procrastination City!

How is everyone? I'm pretty alright! I've been kinda busy lately. Was dogsitting all this last week. Been busy with school (College is cool. You should try it sometime. =D ). Church stuff (another thing everyone should try.). Thinking alot. Walked Bloomsday. That was interesting. Over 40,000 people participated in Bloomsday and strangely enough, I was only stepped on once! Right on! =P

Yesterday my English professor said (and don't ask me how we got to the topic of Shrek...I have no idea), "I don't like Shrek. I think Shrek brought AIDS to the Earth. Him and ET." ... Just picture an 88 year old professor saying that and you'd laugh too.

First of all, can you tell that I've discovered youtube and have fallen in love? lol.
Second of all, I absolutely adore this band. They played at Dare2Share (which I still have to tell you about. One word, AMAZING! Hopefully I can blog about it soon) and I fell in love in an instant! All of there songs are 100% about Jesus, they write all their own songs, they play their own songs, they all have a great message, great music....And not to mention awesome hair! (they're not bad to look at either!) So please take the time to watch this video, it will completely be worth it!

(You may have to turn your volume up...It has terrible sound and I had to turn my speakers up ALOT, but once you do it's perfect!)

A blog before bed

Hi everyone!

Ok, this is what I have been up to. Ooh. An opportunity to make a list! Yay for lists! (I'm sorry, I'm really tired...Please forgive me.)

1. I got my drivers permit! Yay! (I'm a bad driver....ugh.)
2. I'm in the running for valedictorian! (Super stressed that I might get too swamped, screw up my GPA, and lose out on that opportunity though.)
3. I signed up for running start! Yes! I'm a college goin' kid! And I'm terrified! I'm extremely excited, but I'm very nervous!
4. Because I'm going to a university, I have to have through Algebra 2...Ha! I only have through Algebra 1. So, I have to speed through Geometry and then do Algebra 2 next year. So I'm doing a whole year worth of geometry in the remainder of the school year. It basically sucks.
5. Geometry has turned into an extra class...So not only am I working on loads of geometry, but my other three classes as well. (Well, not anymore, but I was until just a week or so ago. Then those classes ended. Thank GOD for that...And WASL. Because that means I don't have school this week.)
6. Andrew L. is my hero....My math wizard friend.
7. Playing my guitar helps me chill out when I'm stressed....So I've improved over the last couple weeks! lol I taught myself how to play one of my very favorite songs "Skin" by Alexz Johnson (That's alright if you've never heard of it. Not a ton of people have.)
8. Today my computer started talking to me....Just out of nowhere...I swear...It was crazy....I even muted it and it STILL kept talking and singing and stuff...I mean...It was coming out of my speakers...Sounded like a weird radio station...
9. I'm really tired. I'm going to go send my brother an e-card (Happy 30th Birthday, Jake!) and then go to bed.

Is there a solution to busy-ness?

Hey everyone (Which is basically Leah, Elisabeth, and my Mumsy....I don't think anyone else reads this...)

Hey eveyone! I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a long time. I need to tell you all about the retreat! It was amazing and life changing. I've been super busy with homework, family sitting, and church. So for now here's another survey about 2006.
