Mad Songs

Hey peoples,

So I was listening to my iPod today (Which was actually yesterday because I typed this up on wordpad and forgot to post it...) and I was listening to what I consider "mad" songs. Not mad as in crazy, but mad as in ticked off songs...Have you ever just found yourself listening to mad songs?? I love them...Like, all the time...Whether I'm mad or not...Unlike sappy romantic songs that are only good if you're in a good mood, but if your sad they just make you want to puke sometimes. So I've decided to create a list of MY top 10 mad songs.

[jennifers.top.10.mad.songs]

10. "Break My Heart" by Hilary Duff. --- Yes yes, I know...How can you associate Hilary Duff with MAD music??? Well, I will be the first to admit, it's poppy, BUT if you listen to lyrics of this song...It's a ticked off song.

9. "Like A Racecar" by Hawk Nelson --- Ok, maybe not a mad song lyrically, but the music definitely qualifies.

8. "Leave (Get Out)" by JoJo

7. "Vacation" by Katy Rose --- Really, anything by Katy Rose...

6. "Bowling Ball" by Superchick --- For every girl who just wants to forget about guys...

5. "Since You've Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson

4. "My Happy Ending" by Avril Lavigne --- What's a list of mad songs without Avril??? I mean, come on...

3. "Skin" by Alexz Johnson --- Here's some lyrics to sum it up for you. "He's under my skin / Just give me something to get rid of him / I've got a reason now to bury this alive / another little white lie." (And at the end of the song it says "I've got a reason now to bury HIM alive...") GREAT SONG.

2. "Sick" by Lillix --- When I listen to this song I listen to it LOUD...And it feels really good...Especially when you're angry...

1. "Shut Up" by Simple Plan. --- The title says it all. GREAT SONG. One of my all time favorites.

Yes yes, I have a very odd taste in music...You don't have to tell me this.

I love lists...I'm a listaholic.

Well, that's all I have to say for today. Maybe there will be more tomorrow...

Love ya,
Jenn

'Tis the Season!

HAPPY EARLY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had a great week!

Last night Laura stayed the night and we had a great time just being goofballs and watching Sixteen Candles.

Today I felt really grown up...Mum and I went to walmart (of course) and when the lady was ringing us up, I saw that something rung up wrong and I normally would have just given my mum a weird look insinuating that it wasn't right, but today I spoke for myself and told the lady it was only supposed to cost $1. And ealier, we were looking at the movies and I heard someone talking to someone else saying something along the lines of, "There's this song that they play when people get kicked off of American Idol and I love it...But I don't know who sings it OR the name of the song, so I'm basically screwed." And I said to her, "That song. It's called "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter and his CD is right over there." And she was like, "OMG! GREAT!" and she went over and grabbed it. Hee hee! I felt great! I normally wouldn't have said anything at all...

I went to a new youth group on Wednesday! It was FABULOUS! You could FEEL the love for Jesus in the room!!!! OH MAN. I LOVED IT! And since it was the Wednesday before Easter, they played the crucifixion scene from The Passion Of The Christ and they had communion (I've never seen a youth group do communion....I've always seen it at church on Sundays. It was really cool) and the youth pastor talked more about Easter after the clip was over (The lights were off, except for the projection screen and everyone was kind of in a time of prayer during the whole thing) and alot of people were crying...And I started to tear up during the clip, but once Pastor Jason started speaking it really made me think about how my relationship with Jesus isn't as strong as I would like it to be and so I started to cry...And my dear friend Laura held me...And I felt like I had all the love in the world...First of all I have Jesus....An amazing mother....Friends that love me and that I love....And a great family....So later I was talking to Laura and we promised that we'd help each other read the Bible more and go to more Church things. I'm really really excited. I can not wait until next Wednesday.

So, I'm talking with my dear friend Elisabeth and our conversation made me wonder....If everyone could invite 3 people to dinner, dead or alive, who would you invite? Please answer in a comment!

I'm really excited for tomorrow...Mum and I are going to go to the same church as which I went to youth group this week...And then I think I'm going to suggest we watch The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe....It feels VERY appropriate.

Well, I think I'm going to call it a night.

I LOVE YOU ALL AND HAVE A MARVELOUS EASTER!!!

Infinite X's and O's,
Jennifer

P.S. Everyone should listen to "Saved" by Warren Barfield...It's a GREAT song....I HIGHLY recommend it. I haven't been able to stop singing it!

Cheney is a crazy town....

Hey peoples,

So, one of my classes right now is PE and we are training for Bloomsday (For the people outside of this area, it's a 7.5 mile "race" (not really a race...But kinda) that Spokane hosts ever year...This is the 30th anniversary race). So, in order to earn a credit in the class you have to walk 5 times a week (5 times a week for an A...4 times for a B...And so on and so forth) One mile a day...BUT each week you add on another mile...So last week was 2 miles 5 times a week...And this week is 3 miles....UGH! And we have to do that for 6 weeks...That means we'll end up doing 6 miles 5 times a week! CRAZY! I mean, this is just general PE...Not TRACK! UGH...Sometimes I think my teachers are down right crazy...But I digress. So, Laura and I have been getting together and walking around town...And you all know me, whenever I go somewhere I usually have my camera with me. So, we've been finding some VERY unusual things in our small little town.

Exhibit A.

No, your eyes do not decieve you...That IS a bicycle in a tree!

And

Exhibit B.

NO, *I* am not a reason that Cheney is crazy....But it's what we found....Can you see what that is? YES, a BRA in the middle of the park! CRAZY!

Well, gotta go. Hope you liked the pictures!!!

Lots of love and frisbee,
Jenn
