"Fairy Tale?"
People say
Life's a fairy tale
Just wait and you'll see
There's no way you can fail
Well, I try, I fail
Don't you know life's no fairy tale
One step forward and two steps back
Life's not easy and that's a fact
Too many lost glass slippers
And not enough Prince Charmings
My pumkin's no carriage
And don't tell me that's alarming
But if what you say is true
And you're not pretending
I just want to know one thing
Can I write my own happy ending?
